Highlights
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–4:00p
Start Date: End of September (earlier start possible through temporary privileges)
Setting: Outpatient Hematology & Oncology with inpatient consultative coverage
Patient Volume: Approximately 18–22 outpatient patients per day
Inpatient Responsibilities: Daily rounding averaging 1–2 hours based on consult volume
Call: Night call 5:00p–8:00a and 1–2 weekends per month
Documentation: Meditech with a combination of paper-based documentation
Required Skills: Hematology & Oncology management, outpatient consultations, inpatient consults, cancer care management, and biopsies as needed
Board Status: Board Certified required (Hematology/Oncology)
Licensure: Rhode Island license, DEA, and CSR required; facility will wait for licensure
Credentialing: Temporary privileges may be available for an earlier start
Support: Established oncology program with dedicated clinical resources and ongoing coverage needs
