Highlights
Schedule: Friday 12:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM with 24-hour call coverage. Need coverage for 3 weekends per month from January through March 2027.
Patient Volume: Average callback and rounding responsibilities of 2-4 hours per day
EMR: Epic
Required Certifications: DEA required
Required Skills/Procedures: Cardiac Surgery call coverage, urgent surgical cases, inpatient rounding, and perioperative patient management
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days; temporary privileges available for qualified providers
Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Surgery
License Requirements: Active Pennsylvania license required; IMLC/LOQ accepted
Additional Details: Adult patient population with APP support available and surgeon backup following consultation. Coverage includes urgent cardiac surgical cases and ongoing inpatient management. Minimum 1 year of experience required. No TAVR responsibilities.
