- Coverage: OB ED physician on-site 24/7 with APP support 12-18 hrs/day.
- Setting: Hospital-based OB Emergency Department (12 beds); Level 1 Trauma; Pediatrics Level 1; L&D present; newborn deliveries not received in ED.
- Patient population: Pregnant patients through 6 weeks postpartum.
- Volume: Typically 40-60 patients/day (VMS also lists 40-60 per shift).
- EMR System: Epic
- Requirements: Licensed in MO or IMLC, Board Certified or Board-Eligible, ACLS, and BLS
- Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
