Highlights
- Dates: Sept 14-18
- Patient encounters per shift: 3-5
- Requirements: Board Certified, PALS
- Airway/ventilation: Neonatal and pediatric ventilation (invasive ETT and non-invasive CPAP/BiPAP, neo‑puff); use of inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
- Procedures/lines: Central and arterial lines (including UVC/UAC), PA catheter, chest tube insertion, needle decompression for pneumothorax, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, hemodialysis catheter placement, exchange transfusions (required per NICU), suturing minor lacerations
- Intubation: Newborn (required); Pediatrics (preferred)
- Sedation: Conscious and deep (preferred)
- Diagnostics: X-ray and EKG interpretation
- OB/NICU coverage: Attend high-risk C-sections (all C-sections not required)
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: ~7 days
