Schedule: 24-hour in-house call; preferred 7-day blocks (shorter assignments considered)
Practice Setting: OB/GYN Hospitalist
Patient Volume: Approximately 6-7 patient encounters per 24-hour shift
Beds: 18-bed OB department
EMR: Epic
Licensing: Missouri license or IMLC; Board Certified required
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Required Skills: High-risk and low-risk obstetrics, fetal heart monitoring, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, gynecologic surgery, management of obstetric emergencies, and inpatient consults
Required Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
Other Key Details: Annual delivery volume of approximately 600. Coverage is primarily solo with midwife backup available. 24/7 CRNA, respiratory therapy, surgical first assist, NICU, and L&D support onsite. VBAC and advanced OB experience preferred.
