  • Northwest 24/7 ER: 15 beds; avg daily census ~60; Level IV trauma.
  • Portland 24/7 ER (FSED): 12 beds; avg daily census ~60; not a trauma center.
  • Rockport 24/7 ER (FSED): 8 beds; avg daily census ~45; not a trauma center.
  • Admissions: ~10% at FSEDs (Portland, Rockport); ~20% at Doctors Regional.
  • Consults: Yes, multiple per day
  • Acuity/cases: High acuity across sites; full breadth of Emergency Medicine.
  • Required procedures performed: Intubations, central lines, chest tubes, ultrasound use, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, trauma management, laceration repair.
  • Support staff: APP coverage at each site (Doctors: 24h/day; Northwest: 12h/day; Portland: 11h/day; Rockport: 9h/day). Not recruiting APP locums currently.
  • Experience: ≥2 years of ED experience to work in FSEDs; FM with EM fellowship acceptable for FSEDs.
  • Skills: Proficiency in high-acuity EM procedures listed above.
  • Certifications: ABEM for Doctors Regional
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Credentialing: No emergency/temporary privileges; case logs required.
