Highlights
- Start date: As soon as credentialed (approx. 1 week)
- Shifts: Mon-Thu 8:00-12:00 & 13:00-17:00; Fri 8:00-14:00
- No nights, weekends, call, or holidays
- Coverage needed: 4-6 shifts per month
- Setting: Outpatient interventional pain management; ambulatory surgery center/in-office procedure suite and clinic/private practice; freestanding physician offices (no hospital beds)
- Scope: 100% interventional injections; no new patients, no follow-ups, no medication prescriptions
- Volume: High-volume, approximately 25-30 procedures/day
- Equipment: Fully equipped in-office suite with fluoroscopy and RF generator
- Support staff: Interventional pain-trained C-arm rad tech, nurse, and medical assistant
- Patient population: Adults with acute and chronic pain
- Special procedures: Cervical/thoracic/lumbar ESIs, facet blocks/RFA, SI joint injections, joint injections, SCS trials, kyphoplasty, stellate/celiac/lumbar sympathetic/superior hypogastric/ganglion impar/gasserian/occipital nerve blocks
- EMR: eClinicalWorks
- Requirements: NC license, Preferred interventional fellowship-trained, board-certified in Anesthesiology or PM&R
- Credentialing timeframe: ~1 week
