Highlights
Schedule: 24-hour shifts (8:00a–8:00a); 3–6 shifts per month; no call
Setting: Emergency Department (low-to-moderate acuity)
Patient Volume: Approximately 28–32 patients per 24-hour shift
EMR: EDIS
Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
Required Skills: Broad emergency medicine including adult and pediatric care, minor procedures, and stabilization; OB/GYN skills including prenatal care and basic GYN procedures (no deliveries)
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible accepted (Emergency Medicine or related)
Licensure: Texas license required
Credentialing: Emergency/temporary privileges available with expedited start
Support: Low-volume ED with on-site resources and dedicated provider space for overnight coverage
