- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
- Overtime: must be approved; OT and Holiday rate 1.25x (OT after 40 hours/week)
- Core duties: Evaluate patient medical problems; collaborate/consult with other specialties as indicated, Provide patient/family education on prevention, conditions, and prescribed treatments/medications, Document evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatments, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations per NCQA, Joint Commission, state, and evidence-based standards, Maintain coding/billing compliance; facilitate quality reviews and implement feedback
- Refer complex/high-priority cases to collaborating physicians, Provide medical and emergency interventions; prescribe and monitor medications; order/monitor emergency interventions
- Unit staffing: Provider 1, NP 1, LPN 1; anesthesia present in each procedure
- Systems/equipment: EPIC charting; Pyxis automated medication dispensing
- Certifications: NY license, BC, AHA BLS
- Minimum 3 years recent APP experience (GI experience strongly preferred)
