- 55% of hospital admissions originate from the ED

- Fewer than 7 patient transfers per 24-hour period
- Primary referral center: Sparrow Hospital Lansing (approximately 20 miles away)
- Support: One APP works alongside the ED attending from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM, Locum physician will provide supervision of APP during overlapping hours
