Highlights

Start: ASAP once credentialed; long-term, ongoing call until coverage is found.
Shifts: 24-hour call (7a-7a).
Monthly coverage: 6-7 shifts per month min to be considered
~10 call days/month needed
Volume: ~30 deliveries/month (about 1/day).
Core duties: well newborn exam at delivery; follow-up care until discharge; discharge exam; attend deliveries when requested for neonatal concerns; arrange transfer to higher level of care/NICU as needed.
Requirements: Active California medical license and DEA, NRP certification.
