- Start 9/7 - ongoing
- Patient load: MD ~25/day; APP ~20/day.
- Provide comprehensive primary care in a community health center: preventive care, acute/chronic disease management, prescribing, referrals, and care coordination with a multidisciplinary team.
- Perform exams; order/interpret labs and imaging; implement treatment plans; prepare/review case histories and conduct patient interviews.
- Deliver family-centered health maintenance including preventive medicine, behavioral health integration, and community health.
- Participate in surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care procedures as trained; initiate/assist with specialist consultations.
- Educate staff and community (e.g., first aid, BLS/ACLS, health maintenance); may teach residents, practitioners, and medical students.
- Support culturally competent, patient-centered care and quality improvement initiatives.
- Requirements: Fellowship, Active VA license, DEA
