Highlights
Schedule: 24‑hour call (7a–7a); up to 15 days/month across 2–3 weekends; weekend coverage required
Patient Volume: 4–8 encounters per shift; average 2–6 phone consults, 1–4 patients seen, 1–4 admissions per 24 hours
EMR: Epic
Required Certifications: ABLS, BLS, PALS
Required Procedures/Skills: Pediatric inpatient care; attend C‑sections/high‑risk deliveries; newborn & pediatric intubation; central line placement; non‑invasive ventilation; pediatric ventilation management; deliveries required
Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Licensure Requirements: Active Texas medical license required
Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days
Additional Details: Pediatric‑focused role; adult procedures not required; Level III trauma; anesthesia, general surgery, ortho, radiology, and lab support; 30‑minute call response time
