- Primary Need: Night shifts are the priority, but all shift types will be considered.
- Shift Structure:
- Bayhealth Kent & Bayhealth Sussex: 10-hour night shifts.
- Smyrna & Total Care Route 9 (Freestanding EDs): 12-hour night shifts.
- Locum Shift Schedule:
- Freestanding EDs: 12-hour shifts.
- Hospital locations: 10-hour shifts.
- Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient.
- Route 9: Approximately 65 patients/day.
- Smyrna: Approximately 54 patients/day.
- Kent: Approximately 160 patients/day.
- Sussex: Approximately 95-105 patients/day.
- Kent: One physician until 1:00 AM and APC coverage until 7:00 AM.
- Sussex: One physician until midnight and APC coverage until 4:00 AM.
- Certifications: BC ABEM or AOBEM, DE License or IMLC
- Minimum Candidate Commitment: 5 shifts per month (5 SPM).
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days.
