Immediate Coverage Need:

- Eight consecutive 24-hour call shifts (7:00a-7:00a)
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call coverage
Call: 30-minute response time; approximately 4-5 phone consults, 1-5 patients seen, and 2 admissions per shift
Practice Setting: Obstetrics & Gynecology
EMR: MEDHOST
Licensing: Active Nevada license or IMLC required
Board Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified OB/GYN
Required Certifications: ABLS
Required Skills: Low-risk and high-risk obstetrics, OB ultrasound performance and interpretation, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, breech and multiple births, placental abruption management, neonatal and maternal emergency management, circumstantial operative gynecology, ectopic pregnancy management, oophorectomy, cystectomy, and extensive adhesiolysis
Preferred Skills: FHR interpretation, Level I/II OB ultrasound, amniocentesis, and VBAC management
Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patient encounters per 24-hour shift
Department: 16-bed OB/GYN service
Coverage Type: Call-only coverage with inpatient obstetrical and gynecologic responsibilities
Credentialing: Approximately 30-45 days
