Practice Setting: Free-Standing Emergency Department with occasional main ED coverage
Patient Volume: Approximately 2-2.5 patients/hour at peak volumes
Beds: 12 bays at FSED; 80 bays at main hospital
Licensing: Active FL license; ABEM, IM, or FM accepted
Credentialing: Standard credentialing; no emergency privileges available
Required Skills: Full-scope Emergency Medicine; case logs required to demonstrate procedural proficiency
Other Key Details: Single-provider coverage at FSED, low-to-mid acuity at FSED and mid-to-high acuity at main ED, 8-10% admission rate at FSED and ~30% at main hospital. Orientation includes shadow shifts, IT training, and medical staff onboarding.
