Patient Volume: 40-50 patients per day
EMR: Cerner
Licensing: Active Michigan license required; Board Certified; Breast Imaging Fellowship required
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Required Certifications: BLS
Required Skills: Screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, image-guided biopsies, localizations, aspirations, BI-RADS interpretation, and MQSA compliance.
Other Key Details: Local candidates only. Fast-paced breast imaging practice with same-day diagnostic workups, direct patient communication, and close collaboration with surgeons, oncologists, nurses, and technologists. Case mix includes approximately 45-55% screening mammography, 25-35% diagnostic imaging, and 15-25% procedures. PACS is currently Change Healthcare with migration to Sectra planned.
