Call: 20-minute response time
Practice Setting: Inpatient Interventional Cardiology
Patient Volume: Approximately 10-15 patients per day
EMR: Epic
Licensing: Active California license required
Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of training)
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, Active Fluoroscopy Permit
Required Skills: Interventional Cardiology, STEMI management, cardiac catheterization, coronary interventions, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology interpretation
Preferred Skills: TEE, invasive diagnostics, PA catheter placement, and advanced interventional procedures
Practice Mix: Approximately 75% Interventional Cardiology and 25% Non-Invasive Cardiology
Facility: Level III Trauma Center and Stroke-Certified Hospital
Experience: Minimum 2 years of current hospital-based Interventional Cardiology experience required; experienced Interventional Cardiologists only
Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days
