Highlights
Schedule: Ongoing coverage beginning late August and continuing into September; primary needs on Wednesdays–Fridays with additional Sunday and Tuesday coverage available
Shift Options: 12-hour shifts with opportunities for extended coverage up to 36 hours
Setting: Community hospital Emergency Department
Patient Volume: Approximately 500 ED visits per month
EMR: Meditech
Required Skills: Full-scope Emergency Medicine including acute care, trauma stabilization, code response, admissions management, and emergency procedures
Board Status: ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified preferred; BC/BE Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and experienced ER-trained physicians considered
Licensure: Active Texas license and DEA required
Certifications Required: NRP required; ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required for non-ABEM/AOBEM physicians
Support: Hospitalist support available for admissions with collaborative inpatient backup
