- Schedule: 14 shifts per month; day shifts (7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) and night shifts (5:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.); nights, weekends, and holidays required; optional 24-hour shifts
- Patient Volume: ~35 patients per day split among providers
- EMR: Cerner PowerChart
- Certifications Required: ATLS
- Required Skills: Trauma surgery coverage including floor rounding, ED call, ICU management, tube thoracostomy, and central venous catheter placement (arterial line placement preferred)
- Board Status: Board Certified required
- Licensure: Active North Carolina license and DEA required
- Support: Strong team environment with attending physicians, APPs, residents, and dedicated trauma nursing support
