Shift Times: 6:30a–6:30p and 5:30p–6:30a (12-hour shifts)
Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department
Patient Volume: Approximately 13,000 annual ED visits
EMR: T-System
Required Skills: Full-scope Emergency Medicine including acute care, stabilization, trauma evaluation, and emergency procedures
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine; ABEM physicians preferred
Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
Licensure: Maine license required
Support: Midlevel backup available in a collaborative emergency department environment
