Highlights
Assignment Length: Ongoing coverage through 2026 with additional opportunities into 2027
Patient Volume: Approximately 8 patients per day; primarily inpatient consults and rounding
Requirements: Board Certified Interventional Cardiology, OH license preferred, IMLC considered, current DEA
Core Skills: STEMI coverage, emergency cardiac catheterization, interventional procedures, radial access interventions, inpatient consults, daily rounding
Setting: Community hospital with established cath lab program
Support: Established cardiology and cath lab team
Call Requirements: 24-hour call coverage including both interventional and general cardiology responsibilities
STEMI Coverage: Approximately 1 STEMI case per weekend
Credentialing: Start as soon as credentialed
Coverage Need: Vacation coverage, holiday coverage (Thanksgiving and Christmas), and ongoing gaps
