Patient Volume: Day census 15–18; night census 14–15 admissions split among 3 providers

Required Certifications: ACLS
Required Procedures/Skills: No procedures required; hospitalists respond to rapid response codes
Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Licensure Requirements: Active Louisiana medical license required
Credentialing Timeframe: 2–4 weeks with temporary privileges available
Additional Details: Open ICU with Pulm/CC consult; ED handles intubations and central lines; night staffing includes 2 physicians + 2 NPs; NPs handle floor calls and low‑acuity admissions
