Highlights
- Dates: 11/1/2026 - ongoing (major need is night shift coverage)
- Shifts: 7:00a-7:00p or 6:00p-7:00a; must be willing to work nights with some days (about half/half)
- Minimum: 10-12 shifts/month (flexible on which days)
- Coverage: Inpatient ER; regular hourly; no call
- Guaranteed hours: 12 per day; OT applies after 12 hrs/day (OT not expected)
- Setting: General ER; Trauma Level IV; Peds level 0
- Volume: Small; ~15 patient encounters per shift; patient handoff at end of shift
- Procedures: Must be comfortable intubating
- Support services 24/7: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, Radiology; OR response time available
- Newborn deliveries received in ED: Yes; no L&D department
- Staffing: Seeking 1-2 providers to assist with coverage
- No Admissions required
- Hospital is Stroke Certified
- Support Staff: 7 RNs
- Certifications: OR license, BC or BE, ABEM highly preferred, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS required; NRP highly preferred
- Current CV required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: ~60 days
- Clean file (no malpractice issues; clean NPDB) required for temporary privileges to start in November; otherwise start in December
