Highlights
Schedule: Coverage needed November 23-29, 2026. Weekday 8-10 hour day shifts with overnight and weekend call opportunities. Multiple providers will be considered.
EMR: Epic
Required Certifications: TEE Certification and Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography (NBE) Testamur Status or equivalent qualifications
Required Skills/Procedures: Open heart surgery, thoracic procedures, vascular procedures, structural heart cases, cardiac anesthesia, perioperative echocardiography, and general OR coverage as needed
Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days
Board Certification: Board Certified in Anesthesiology
License Requirements: Nebraska license preferred; IMLC accepted and providers requiring licensure will be considered
Additional Details: Adult and geriatric patient population only. Academic medical center environment with dedicated cardiac surgery support, CRNA support, and a TEE program. Fellowship-trained Cardiac Anesthesiologists preferred. Providers with extensive documented cardiac anesthesia experience and advanced echocardiography credentials may also be considered. Approximately 360-450 cardiac surgical cases performed annually.
