Highlights
Schedule: 7-on/7-off block schedule (Monday–Monday)
Start Date: August 17, 2026 target (or week of August 31)
Hours: 7:00a–5:00p onsite daily during coverage weeks
Call: Evening beeper call during scheduled week
Call Volume: Low callback burden; APP serves as first call, physician as second call
Patient Volume: Approximately 6–10 patients per day
Setting: Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Department Size: 10-bed inpatient psychiatric unit
EMR: Epic
Required Skills: Evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and other acute behavioral health conditions
Board Status: Board Certified Psychiatry required
Fellowship: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship required
Certifications Required: BLS and PALS
Credentialing: Approximately 15–30 days with temporary privileges available
Support: Established multidisciplinary team including APPs, nursing, and administrative support
