Weekday in-house call: 3:00p-7:00a; ~1 night/week; post-call day off
Weekend in-house call: Sat or Sun 7:00a-7:00a (24h); ~2 nights/month (one Sat, one Sun); can be taken consecutively
Call divided equitably among physicians; no beeper call
Care team model (Yes): supervise main OR; perform own cases in OB
OB: physician-run labor epidural service; physicians perform labor epidurals
Supervision ratio: usually 1:4 (sometimes 1:3)
Daily patient volume: 40+
EMR: Medaxion / Meditech
Requirements: Board eligible or certified
