Highlights
- Full-time, weekdays primarily: Mon-Fri, 7:00a-5:00p (prefer 7:00-3:00 or 7:00-5:00) with flexibility to stay if needed.
- Pager call as needed to cover nights/call
- Start: as soon as credentialed
- Supervise rooms and perform own cases (care team model).
- Supervision: 90-100% supervision; typical MD coverage ratio 1:2 to 1:3.
- Daily volume: ~35-50 combined OR/CVOR/Endo cases.
- Patient mix: Older, higher-acuity population; few ASA I/II; very rare peds (occasionally older child/teen).
- Case types: General/Colorectal, Urology, Ortho, Vascular, light ENT, light Neuro-spine, light Thoracic (usually by heart team; not required), Endoscopy, Cath lab (EP/ablations); Hearts by separate team; no routine peds.
- Support: Full OR support staff.
- EMR: Anesthesia—Medaxion; Hospital—Meditech/PatientKeeper.
- Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible, ACLS, PALS.
