Highlights
Assignment Dates: October 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Hours: Typically 7:00–7:30a start with a 4:30p end time
Coverage Requirement: Minimum 2 weeks per month
Call: 1:4 weekend call rotation (Friday 5:00p – Monday 7:00a)
Weekend Responsibilities: Rounding only; no elective cases scheduled
Additional Coverage: Must be available for occasional night and weekend coverage to support the existing APP team
Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
Required Skills: Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH), surgical closure, CT surgery first assist, and vascular surgery support
Board Status: Board Certified required
Licensure: Active PA license required
DEA: PA DEA required
Certifications Required: ACLS and BLS
Experience: 5–6 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required
