Highlights
Schedule: 12-hour day (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) shifts available. Approximately 20 shifts per month with weekend coverage required.
Patient Volume: Approximately 2,500 deliveries annually
EMR: Epic
Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS
Required Skills/Procedures: Labor and Delivery management, inpatient obstetrical care, delivery attendance, postpartum rounding, OB Hospitalist coverage, and management of obstetric patients throughout hospitalization
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
Board Certification: Board Certified OB/GYN
License Requirements: Active Illinois license, DEA, and Illinois CSR required at submission
Additional Details: No call responsibilities. Academic practice environment with resident support and collaborative Labor & Delivery coverage. Providers work alongside resident physicians and nursing teams in a team-based setting. Minimum 1 year of experience required and must be comfortable independently managing Labor & Delivery patients.
