Practice Setting: Inpatient OB/GYN
Patient Volume: 50-60 deliveries per month; 1-3 admissions per day
Licensing: ND license preferred; IMLC accepted; DEA, BLS, and NRP required; Board Certified
Required Skills: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, bladder repairs, and D&C procedures
Other Key Details: Expected to round on patients, cover deliveries, and respond to urgent ER consults. Average callback time is approximately 7.5 hours per 24-hour shift. Support available from a Family Practice physician with OB experience. Clean malpractice and background history strongly preferred.
