Gastroenterology coverage needed in Colorado
We have a need for a Gastroenterologist in the Denver Metro area for ongoing inpatient GI coverage at a Level I Trauma Center. Providers must be comfortable with ERCP and EUS and available for at least some of the listed coverage dates. Open to more details?

Highlights
Date: Ongoing beginning November 2026
Schedule: 24-hour coverage (7a-7a); onsite 7a-7p plus night call
Practice Setting: Inpatient Gastroenterology Consult Service
Patient Volume: 8-10 new consults/follow-ups and 5-8 scopes per day
EMR: Epic
Licensing: Active CO license preferred; DEA required; BC Gastroenterology and GI Fellowship required
Credentialing: 60-90 days; emergency privileges available in 1-2 weeks for clean files
Required Skills: ERCP, EUS, endoscopy, GI bleed management, inpatient GI consults, and advanced gastroenterology procedures
Other Key Details: Level I Trauma Center, no clinic responsibilities, 24/7 intensivist and hospitalist support, weekend coverage required, and 7-day coverage blocks preferred. Multiple coverage dates available from November 2026 through January 2027 and beyond.
